Happy Father's Day
As we celebrate Father's Day, our thoughts are reminded of the valuable lesson from the biblical tradition of giving one's children a father's blessing. In Jewish culture, a father's blessing is a significant act of love, commitment, and legacy. When a father blesses his children, he is not just going through a ritual, but it's a declaration of imparting his wisdom, protection, and provision upon them for their now and their future.
For this article, we invited a spiritual father to share a blessing over each of you, a blessing to prosper your heart and your spirit. So if you've never received a father's blessing, we invite you to posture your heart and receive today. This is also for those who have received a father's blessing, may you be reminded again of the goodness of receiving and giving from a father, what a powerful calling to be a conduit of blessing.
A Father's Blessing
Take a few slow deep breaths and move into a heart posture to receive. God wants to bless you with a father's blessing. It's never too late. Now is a good time.
My Child,
I bless you with powerful encounters, not with ‘The’ Heavenly Father but with ‘Your’ Heavenly Father.
I bless you to experientially encounter His love like never before.
I bless you to experience Him so powerfully that His love for you is undeniable.
I bless you to no longer settle for wanting to believe He loves and He has you, but to finally K-N-O-W, in the deepest places of your heart that He does.
I bless you to wholeheartedly receive the truth that YOU (yes, you) ARE (yes, ARE) a son/daughter of the Most High God, who is also your Loving Heavenly Father.
I bless you to receive how He wants to cover you, protect you & provide for you. No matter what the world or the enemy tells you. You ARE His son. You ARE His daughter.
I bless you with an open heart to accept & embrace, ‘You’ were the ‘joy’ set before Him when Jesus went to the cross & paid the price for you.
I bless you to know no one can take that away from you!
I bless you to look to the Father for guidance & truth versus the deceptive picture the world paints.
I bless you to go to the Father for help, He’s waiting with arms wide open to receive you, comfort you & shelter you.
I bless you to rest in the Father’s arms, He will give you the strength to keep moving forward.
I bless you to know the Father loves & accepts you just the way you are. You don’t have to change to come to Him, His love will bring change. His love will bring healing.
I bless you to know and feel you are loved, favored, chosen, and wanted by your Heavenly Father.
I bless you to know He hasn’t left you nor forsaken you (Hebrews 13:5) you’re not doing life alone, you have a Father who is looking after you.
I bless you to grasp the significance of the blood of Jesus, the most powerful substance in the universe.
I bless you to know there’s nothing you have done or have gone through that Jesus’ blood cannot cover. His blood covers all, every drop matters. Not one drop is wasted. There’s enough blood for anything and everything. His blood washes everything away. You are a new creation by His blood. The old is past the new is here.
I bless you to walk in His reality and His truth and I bless you to see His goodness in your life.
